Delivered

  • First customer order — skateboard deck mounts — designed, printed six to a plate and delivered
  • Production bridge to the printer over the LAN, queue server and admin console
  • Text Studio: free-text personalisation on any library item
  • Seven-gate marketplace compliance engine, including own-real-photo and AI-disclosure gates
  • Cost basis computed from real filament receipts, never a remembered number

01The brief

Turn a single desktop printer into a product business with the discipline of a factory: a queue, a bridge to the machine, cost basis from real receipts, and a compliance gate so nothing with an unclear license is ever sold.

02What I built

A production bridge to the printer over the LAN, a queue server and admin console, a text-personalization studio for any library item, a trends radar for market signals, an Etsy policy-compliance engine with seven gates, and the public marketing site — all with honest copy: real footage labelled as such, per-line status badges, and no renders on listings.

03Outcome

Operating, with the first customer order (skateboard deck mounts) printed and product lines moving through test prints.
